How can you like that relationship when Ares was known to torture Xena?' For me, anyways, I was always intrigued by it. Did they love each other? Did they hate each other? Did they respect each other? Were they really father and daughter, like some have speculated? Why was Ares so obsessed with Xena at times? And why didn't they kill each other when both had ample opportunities to do so? There were so many unanswered questions about this relationship, and it was one of the most important relationships in the Xenaverse.
