Welcome to the fanlistings.org approved fanlisting for the awesome band, Van Halen. Van Halen consists of Sammy Hagar, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Michael Anthony. The original lead singer, David Lee Roth was with them from 1978-1985. Sammy joined the band in 1985, and they split with him in 1996. In 1997 they brought in former Extreme frontman Gary Cherone and released one album with him, which failed due to the album not being the hard rock their fans were used to. They had started work on a second album with him, but it was never completed due to him leaving the group amicably. Then from 2000-2004, they seemed to have disappeared as a band. But in 2004, they reunited with Sammy for a greatest hits album and a concert tour. After that, Sammy once again left the group. And as of now, they are on hiatus. But a return with David Roth has been talked about.
