In the course of his career, which has spanned over two decades, Hall has wrestled for the American Wrestling Association (AWA), the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
In the WWF, Hall was a four-time Intercontinental Champion. In WCW, he was a two-time United States Heavyweight Champion, a former World Television Champion, and a seven-time World Tag Team Champion (six times with Kevin Nash, once with The Giant), as well as the winner of the 1997 World War 3 battle royal. In AWA, he was a former World Tag Team Champion with Curt Hennig. Hall is a former world champion, having enjoyed a reign as WWC Universal Heavyweight Champion. He is also a former USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion, however this title was never defended on an international forum..The
