Rachel came onto the during the fourth season and replaced Samantha as the Profiler at the Violent Crimes Task Force. Rachel had the same gift Samantha had, the ability to see the crime happen in her mind. She wasn't well welcomed by the team at first because she was constantly being compared to Samantha. But they came around and recognized that she was her own person and was the right person for the job. The final episode of The Profiler ended in a huge cliffhanger that was never resolved.
