The show focuses on Robin Scorpio and Patrick Drake, two M.D.'s who have fallen in love even though they're always at odds. The show features other doctors such as Saira Batra, Leo Julian, Kyle Julian and Claire Simpson. Other hospital staff, such as Touissant Dubois and Epiphany Johnson are also featured. Robin gets a blast from the past when both her father and mother come at the same as her old friend Jagger Cates. Although the show wasn't picked up for a third season, it remains a fan favorite.'Night Shift' also earned the title of SOAPnet's most watched show ever.
