Welcome to the fanlistings.org approved fanlisting for the relationship between Kathryn Janeway and Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager. Janeway and Tuvok knew one another before Janeway had taken command of Voyager. Tuvok considered Janeway the closest he had to family on Voyager, and she in return considered him her most trusted adviser, often discussing matters of command decisions with him and asking him his advice on them if need be. Because of this, when Tuvok went behind her back and disobeyed her orders concerning the Sakari technology in the episode Prime Factors, she was deeply hurt by his actions. More hurt than she would of been had any other crew member had done what Tuvok had done.
