Welcome to the fanlistings.org approved fanlisting for the character of Hyacinth Bucket from Keeping Up Appearances. I called this listing Socially Inept, because that's exacly what Hyacinth was, socially inept. No matter how uppity and up she put herself out to be, she always lacked that one very important skill for being social...and that was simple manners. But the running joke with her was she hated anyone pronouncing her last name the way it should be, Bucket. She'd always tell people it was Bouquet. The other running joke was whether or not her son was gay. The assumption was, he was. But Hyacinth refused to even see the possibility.
