Welcome to the fanlistings.org approved fanlisting for the TV series, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. HTLJ was a new twist on the Hercules story, and it starred Kevin Sorbo as the son of Zeus. Unlike some portrayals of Hercules, this Hercules was smart and he wasn't shown to be a complete idiot. He was caring and would put his own life in danger to save someone else's. Hercules' best friend in the series was Iolaus, and though Iolaus wasn't as strong as Hercules, his heart was just as big as Hercules' and he was just as willing to risk his life for someone else as well. In the series, Hercules' family had been killed by Hera, and when he finally did find love again, she was taken from him as well.
