Welcome to the fanlistings.org approved fanlisting for George Carlin. George is a stand-up comedian who has been one for over 50 years. George is popular because though his comedy is intelligent, he doesn't speak over anyone's head. Most everyone who watches him understands the points he's trying to make in his comedy, and he's often called a truthful comic because most of his comedy is the absolute truth about what's going on. Back in the 1970's he created what is one of his best known routines, though at the time it was very controversial and got him arrested at one point and it was The Seven Words Words You Can Never Say On TV, or simply The Seven Dirty Words. George has had several stand-up specials on HBO over the years with his most recent one, Life Is Worth Losing back in 2005. This year marks yet another new special from George called It's Bad For Ya. And it's set to air in March of this year on HBO.
