Dogbert is the evil genius in the strip who'd rather stab you in the back than help you. He runs his own tech support, which is no help at all to the people calling in. He often advises the pointy hair boss. One of his dreams is to conquer the world and enslave all human beings, but he often abandons those plans when he gets too bored. No matter what he does or how much he dislikes humans, Dogbert is definitely a favorite among Dilbert readers.
